After enjoying more than a decade in Redhill we have taken the difficult decision to relocate our Flagship Southern showroom to the charming town of Weybridge.
The grand opening event of our Redhill showroom took place in January 2011 with celebrity guests and friends of the Company chef James Martin & TV architect George Clarke. As our reputation & product portfolio grew so did our Redhill showroom with a relaunch event in February 2013 to celebrate the showroom’s complete renovation and doubling in size. The 2013 event was again attended by George Clarke plus other well-known customers of ours including Les Dennis & Dominic Littlewood.
The newly revamped showroom and launch event proved the catalyst for our success in the South of England with our Redhill showroom rightly proclaimed as the best of its kind in the UK. Boasting a full house inside the showroom the entire space was packed with our best & most popular bifold, sliding door and bespoke products.
Since the 2013 relaunch event the showroom has constantly been modified with newly launched products squeezed into the showroom, ensuring that we’ve stayed ahead of market trends & pushed the boundaries within the industry. In 2016 we opened our incredible Leeds showroom & this was closely followed in 2018 by the opening of our fantastic showroom in Romford, Essex. Both of which somewhat overshadow our Redhill showroom, which we believe needs both extending and redesigning to properly showcase the true benefits that our products can bring to our customers projects.
Exciting Plans for 2022
2022 will see us launch more innovative products than ever before so rather than a huge refit taking place in our Redhill showroom, we have taken the decision to start with a blank canvas to once again, build the most impressive, extensive & inspirational showroom in the South of England.
Our new premises in Weybridge has better links and access to rail and road networks meaning easier access for our customers and our fleet. The increased size and improved transport links will enable us to also set up a logistics depot & installation hub within the new showroom premises. Our new Weybridge blank canvas is double the size of our existing Redhill showroom and will once again allow us to build show homes within the showroom to display our products in real life settings. The whole space will be designed internally to showcase the best of our products rather than attempting to incorporate our new products into an existing showroom space.
The showroom relocation is a major part of our ambitious plans for 2022. The fit-out of the new showroom and depot is scheduled to commence this November with a grand opening event planned for mid Spring 2022.
We’ve greatly enjoyed our twelve years in Redhill, but our Company ethos has always been focused on being the absolute best in everything that we do, and we believe that the time has come for a benchmark new showroom in Surrey.
Our Redhill showroom will remain open as usual whilst our Weybridge showroom is under construction and we will be posting regular updates on our website and social media channels.
2022 will see a clearance event take place as the ex-display products currently in the Redhill showroom are put up for sale. As we begin another new and exciting chapter for Express Bi-Folding Doors, we will celebrate the Weybridge opening in Spring 2022, which will see us launch a new bi-folding door system & a new slim-line sliding door system.
