What we delivered

We manufactured all the slim framed aluminium windows that have given a significant upgrade throughout the entire property. The windows used were a combination of fixed picture windows, tilt and turn windows and our open out casement windows. The external colour of windows is RAL 7044 Silk Grey, which suits the traditional stonework & gives a contemporary look to the home rather than a complete modernisation.

Internally RAL 9003 has been used, which is an off-white colour that allows our doors and windows to blend into the neutral interior spaces but with pops of colour from the outside thanks to the clear & expansive glazing that has been used throughout the home.

Again, our windows have been utilised beautifully with expertly placed windowsills on the inside of the new extension but all running through at the same height as the doors within the new open-plan space. The glazed returns ensure the extension benefits from maximum natural light at all times and the large tilt and turn windows contain minimal frame, maximum glass and the functionality to tilt inwards for ventilation or to swing inwards completely allowing the occupants inside to join in conversations or spectate with the goings on outside, or simply to sit inside whilst enjoying the fresh air and sunshine from the outside space.

Roof lanterns have also been utilised to great effect, taking advantage of the newly constructed large flat roof. Two EOS roof lanterns have been installed, each with the purpose of lighting up each of the zones within the new extension. The dining area and the new sun-bathed living area both benefit from lofty ceilings and sky views thanks to the skylights that sit centrally above them.

The results of this completed project are stunning, a great mix of traditional stonework and finished details alongside our contemporary glazing products. The use of dual colour products throughout suits the property perfectly, a classic look externally and a slightly more contemporary but warm feeling internally, but with modern touches such as floor to ceiling glass, open plan spaces, plus an abundance of natural light.
