Background

The homeowners were extending their traditional bungalow with a huge extension, and they wanted our slim-line panoramic sliding doors to maximise the light in their new living space.

What we delivered

Our sliding doors have been expertly installed around the steel supports within the extension to look like one continuous product. We used our slimmest sliding door the XP Slide Panoramic which is made with slender frames to create minimal sightlines – the frames for these doors are bonded to the glass during the manufacturing process, and expertly installed with no margin for error.

The vertical sightlines are just 30mm and the sightlines so small at both the head and foot of the door that despite the requirements for an external sill for the doors to sit on, trickle vents and insulated pressings between the different door-sets the look and feel of a glass wall has been wonderfully achieved.

The result is a seamless high specification contemporary open plan kitchen, dining and living room with centre island encapsulated by our hugely impressive slide panoramic doors. Finished with the highest attention to detail the extension contains various mod cons creating a luxurious modern space with beautiful views onto the sloping garden.
