Like all our roof light windows, at Express, our aluminium pyramid skylights are expertly manufactured in-house at our factory. Designed to let the maximum amount of light into your home from above, our glass pyramid skylights have a structurally bonded system, which reduces the amount of frame that obstructs your view.
Not only does this enhance their sleek appearance, but it allows them to better flood your space with sunlight throughout the year and make your room feel as bright and airy as possible, even in the winter months.

The XP Pyramid Skylight is produced & bonded in-house. The framework is minimal but powder coated to RAL 7016 anthracite grey as standard as the neutral colour is a perfect complement to the membranes used to keep flat roof’s watertight. RAL colour 9005 Jet Black is available as an option for the external finish to compliment your existing doors and windows and can be priced on application.
Dual colour is available with white available on the internal combined with a 7016 or black exterior. The dual colour option does increase both the price and the lead time so because the framework is so minimal we recommend RAL 7016 inside and out as that is our off the shelf colour option.

Our XP Pyramid Skylight is designed with security in mind. Featuring a laminated inner panel with solar reflective glass as standard. Our dedication to quality engineering means that we offer a 10 year guarantee on all our products.
The XP Pyramid Skylight is factory glazed so arrives on site fully built-up and ready to install. We include a scaffold tower in every installation. For large sized skylights we’ll send a team of up to four installers for ease of handling & health and safety.

Frameless Roof Lantern Frequently Asked Questions
How much frame is visible with the pyramid internally and externally?
Externally there is an overhang to create an effective weather seal but there is still only 67mm of aluminium profile the rest is all glass. Internally there is a mere sightline of just 59mm, the rest of the lantern is predominantly glass.
What is the specification for the required upstand?
The upstand needs to be a minimum of 150mm high to satisfy building regulations and 90mm for the roof lantern to sit on.
Is the roof available on a supply only basis?
Yes, the lead time for a supply only frameless roof lantern would be around six weeks.
Does the upstand need to be level and square for the roof to sit on?
Yes, this is a structurally bonded product so cannot be manipulated so needs to be sit on a perfectly level and square base.
Can your Rooflights be installed onto any roofing substrate?
Yes, this is no problem. As long as the rooflight is being fitted onto a timber upstand, and the correct sealant is applied depending on the substrate.
Can you install the XP Pyramid onto a pitched roof.
No, the XP Pyramid can only be installed onto a flat roof. We offer other roofing products that are available on various roof pitches.
What pitch is the roof lantern and can this vary?
The frameless roof lantern is set at a pitch of 40 degrees, this cannot be changed as the pitch is part of this frameless design.
What is the biggest frameless roof lantern you offer?
The largest pyramid roof lantern we offer is 2000mm x 1000mm or a square lantern at 1400mm x 1400mm.
We also offer roof lantern that can go much bigger because they are built-up on site but they are not frameless like our XP Pyramid rooflight.

We are members of the Certass Certified Quality Assured scheme which is a quality assurance scheme for reputable and trustworthy Companies, designed to give consumers additional confidence when working with Companies for their renovation, maintenance and improvement projects.
The Certass CQ scheme isn’t a building regulations document but offers peace of mind for the customer that their works have been installed correctly and to the relevant industry standards. As part of the scheme our installations are independently audited by Certass every month and a certificate of conformity is sent to our customers upon the completion of our works. Included in the CQ scheme is a 10-year insurance backed guarantee and a 120 day deposit protection policy.

CERTASS COMPETENT PERSONS SCHEME
Our replacement installations in England a Wales are backed by the Certass Competent Person Scheme and after the completion of our woks our customers receive a personalised Certass branded building regulations certificate reaffirming that the works have been completed to the relevant industry standards. Also included is a 10-year insurance backed guarantee to sit alongside our own comprehensive guarantee:
• The certification includes works where the removal and reinstallation of windows and doors are completed and installed by Express.
• The scheme covers replacement installations but does not include extensions and newbuild projects.
• The scheme covers our replacement works across England and Wales.
